Monex workforce consists of individuals from different skill levels. The technical team can be found in the Metallurgy and Laboratory departments. The Metallurgy department makes use of metallurgical devices for assaying and ensure that quality gold is derived.

The metallurgy department serves as the quality assurance division of Monex Mining Company. It is the responsibility of this department to check the quality of gold the company is mining, buying or selling. The department also smelts gold nuggets into gold bars if necessary. The department works in collaboration with the Export and Finance departments during gold trading. The metallurgy department ensures that safety always comes first in the course of its business operations.
